So I'm reading this book by Jack Welch (Former Chairman and C.E.O of General Electric)and a line really hit me. One of those what do you call 'em?.... "Light bulb moments?" After organizing the fraternity last year, being a treasurer and going through the RA Leadership training program... this made more sense to me than it probably would have otherwise. It may not mean anything to anyone reading this and isn't meant to really. I am posting so someday when I am reviewing old entries I can see and remember these words. I thought about making this entry private (mainly because it has no real relevance) but then decided I didn't really need to do that. This whole long explanation is just basically so people aren't confused by why a random line from a book is appearing in my journal.
"Leaders can't have an iota of fakeness. They have to know themselves-so that they can be straight with the world, energize followers, and lead with the authority born of authenticity."
